FOUNDATION I
One of the basic universal laws is that energy cannot be created nor destroyed. It can only be transformed.
Daoist Meditation, in which the fundamental practice focuses on the health of the practitioner’s own body, uses ancient Chinese methods of transforming the accumulated stressful energies into health reinforcing vitality.
Theory includes an introduction to:
- Wuji - The Source
- Taiji - Yin and Yang
- Wuxing - The Five Elements
- Bagua - The Eight Diagrams
- Jingluo - Meridian system of the body
Practice includes:
- Warm-up and Warm-down Qigong Exercises
- Neixiao - The Inner Smile
- Liuzijue - Six Secret Words
- Xiaozhoutian - Small Heavenly Cycle (Microcosmic Orbit)
FOUNDATION II
In this second part of the course the aim is to build upon the skills aquired in Foundation I so as to improve their effectiveness and add the next stage seamlessly to them.
Prerequisites - Daoist Meditation: Foundation I.
Theory includes:
- Interior and Exterior Qi Interactions
- The Three Dantians
Practice includes:
- Concentration Techniques
- Connecting the Dantians & Connecting to the Exterior
- Dazhoutian - Large Heavenly Cycle (Macrocosmic Orbit)
